How is everybody? It sounds like you had fun at festival, and I feel so bad for not being able to see you ladies perform! I thought festival was on a different weekend. Geez, that's embarrassing to confess. Alzheimer's is rampant in our family and I swear I was born with it.

I began homeschooling our ten-year-old, and she loves it. She learns so quickly, when given individualized attention. In just a week, she caught on to long-division which was something she had a really hard time with last year. In the fourth grade, she began to have a difficult time keeping her grades up for many different reasons. And it was difficult to try and catch her up when she would come home from school, tired and stressed-out and wanting to have a life outside of homework. I'm not saying every kid should be home-schooled and am grateful for our public school system. But for Renee (naynay), I felt very strongly that she needed to be at home. I hope it will work out. It HAS to work out, because trying to reintegrate her into public school would be very difficult unless we waited until next year.
Mikey is actually beginning to say intelligible words! I know, every parent thinks their kids are the cutest. And every parent wants to show their kids off. I'm no exception. I'm making some home-videos and posting them at MySpace if you want to take a look (www.myspace.com/izdihar_al_rakkasah). It's been hard to get him to do the cute stuff when the camera's on, because he knows he's being filmed and becomes very composed and dignified. Then when we put the camera away, BAM! He's rolling around on the floor and singing the theme to 'BooBah'. But I promise, we'll have some cute stuff in the next couple of days.
Jenny says 'hi' and gave birth to her fourth baby early last month. His name is Justin and I posted his pics at MySpace as well.
