Desert Veils Tribal Belly Dancers live to dance in Moab, a little jewel of a town in SE Utah. Under the direction of Jamilla, they perform throughout the Southwest and in Salt Lake. Since 1999 they have thrilled audiences with their smooth moves, distinct choreography and fast shimmies. The age range is 11 months to 54 years .
We dance for each other and have formed a very close bond, both in class and out. We dance as a prayer. We always dedicate each class to someone who needs our help and then we breathe together. Women who breathe together can dance together. Together we can heal the world.
