a good friend of mine over holidays stayed at the new MODA hotel (old dufferin hotel), across from VSO. great reno. nothing over the top, but great to see a fresh face-lift to a stale hotel and rejuvinating the area. i hear that the manament is redesigning the bar in the basement too. cool. www.modahotel.ca/
