Dear Prospective Devil's Denizen:

If you are getting this message, it's because you have confirmed your intent to camp at the Devil's Workshop & Day Spa and you have not paid your dues

Until we get your payment, your spot is not reserved!

Tomorrow, 8/6, dues go up to $100/person. The first 250 people to pay their dues will get in. If you don't pay, someone may get your spot. We are now at about 220. Bring your payment into the shop and give it to Dan, Monica or Diva, or paypal dan@dandasmann.com.

We really want you to be part of this awesome community we're building so don't procrastinate. If you need to make special arrangements, talk to me as soon as possible!

Got Questions?

Got questions about the Devil's Workshop and Day Spa? Your contact people are Diva and Monica. Dan & Karen are building sculptures, not running the camp. Don't call them, they probably don't have the answer anyway.

Email Monica, crudeawakening.volunteer@gmail.com or Diva, netdiva@gmail.com. Please understand that we're receiving about sixty camp-related messages a day and doing our best to answer them in a timely manner.

If it's really urgent, you can call Diva weekdays between 5pm-11pm, weekends any time, at 415/845-4510. I have a day job so please do not call me until after 5pm!

Meals

If you're planning on being part of the meal plan, your last day to get your payments in is August 10 or until we reach 150 people. We're filling up quick so if you want to enjoy our kitchen, please get your payment in, ASAP!

Just to update you, we now have two full-time gourmet chefs, Jeff Holmes and ZigZag, managing our kitchen, plus a kitchen staff of ten. (That's ZigZag in the photo to the right.)

All of our produce is coming from Planet Organic. We have purchased a refridgerated storage container (16'x8') which will serve as a walk-in fridge/freezer. There will be an ice machine, full commercial kitchen, themed meals, salad bar to accompany lunch and dinner and more surprises that Jeff and ZigZag keep adding!

It's $140 for seven days (8/27 - 9/3) or $80 for four days (8/31 - 9/3). Both plans include three meals a day. You can bring a check or cash into the American Steel building and give it to me, Monica, or Dan, or you can paypal dan@dandasmann.com.

Ride Shares

Got extra space in your vehicle? Need a ride up or back? Go here to hook-up with your camp mates and arrange a ride.

Trucks

This section only applies to people who have already made arrangements with Dan, Karen, Diva and Monica.

Some of you are planning to transport art or gear to the Playa on the Crude Awakenings trucks. These guidelines will ensure that your stuff makes it to the Playa.

* Everything must be here in the American Steel Building by August 9!
* Pack it as tightly and compact as possible.
* Clearly mark your stuff so that it's very obvious it's yours!
* When you arrive at American Steel, ask Monica, Diva or Margaret to show you where to unload. This will ensure that we get your stuff on the truck.
