Revolution in weight training - Ever gravity

topic posted Fri, January 25, 2008 - 9:43 PM by  Ever
As you know, our muscles don't just need water to grow, they also need resistance. Most of the resistance on our body in our lifetimes is caused by gravity. That's why I have a revolution in gravity.

For just three easy payments, I will send you a roll of florescent tape. You can use this tape to mark out an area where gravity will actually effect your body differently than ordinary gravity. The gravity in this area will push down on your muscles only in the places where they will respond the most. This is scientifically proven.

Act now.

-------------------

I feel a bit better now. My back is imperfect, but not hurting as much. Still a work in progress.

I mentioned to someone that I wished I could do more pull-ups.

He said,"The average woman can't even do one." (maybe that's because her average size in America is 5'4" and 163lbs)

I replied," Most Americans can't find Iraq on a world map. Average is an increasing lower bar."

So, why IS average such a low bar?

Average is a low bar cause people don't have enough respect for themselves, period.

      ...and...

      "If you dont respect yourself
Aint nobody gonna give a good
Ca-hoot na na na oh oh
      Respect yourself "

or you can try to force people to respect you by bullying them, beating them, intimidating them, buying them or pointing a weapon at them.

ok, ok maybe I'm being a touch too agressive!

I think the bar for average has dropped so low because in general people care less than they used too. Pride in one's self is at an all time low, we spend more cash than ever before on mindless junk and pay little attention to this vessel that carries us. Obesiety levels around the world are so out of control, it takes shows like "Biggest Loser" to shame people into looking after themselves, but even this doesn't work 100%.

I admire the over-weight people I see out walking, jogging or cycling while I cycle along my usual bike route. We need to make average a higher bar and treat ourselves better.
