Anyone have one of those new fangled sweepers that are advertised on TV and supposedly actually work? I'm looking for something I can drag around my new apartment that won't be as heavy as a vacuum and will cut down on vacuum use.

My grandma has one, its pretty cool but she doesn't have pet hair or kids running around. I don't know how much it can stand up to a real mess. -

Sun, April 6, 2008 - 7:08 PMwe have a shark sweeper, like those old fashioned bissel ones, only it has a rechargeable batery too. for touch ups it is really good. it picks up pet hair with the brushes and the little suction picks up crumbs, etc. it is very light and just takes a minute to use. we only do a regular vacuming once a week or so. that is with two dogs and two cats.
