Thats what the reporter team said. Ibo went to police and said that this is not true nd that the camera man make self the destroing of the camera.

Re: need of translation
Sat, April 19, 2008 - 4:31 PMHere's full translation:
"Is this photo the reason for the beating?
Magazine world is talking about the beating incident of Tatlises. The reason was reported to be these photos. Ibrahim Tatlises crossed swords with the magazine world. The reason: his beating a reporter and a cameraman of a magazine programme. It was claimed that, reporter Deniz Altuntas and cameraman Lokman Akdeniz saw Ibrahim Tatlises, his son Ido and a few friends in Torba House of Arts and wanted an interview with them. Before they had a chance to run the camera, the famous singer attacked the reporter and the cameraman. Tatlises and his bodyguards removed the tape from the camera and destroyed them both.
It was also claimed that Tatlises did not stop at that but applied physical violence. Both the reporter and the cameraman have been given two days' disability leave and they also filed a complaint about the singer and his bodyguards.
After giving his official statement in the district attorney's office, Tatlises rejected the claims, saying: 'We neither beat nor talked to anyone. Here's the case but if anyone wants to inflate it, one may do so. We believe we are right and we gave our official statements.' To a reporter's question about the camera breaking, Tatlises replied: 'They might have broken it themselves. They will have to prove their claim by presenting the camera'.
Other resources claim that the actual cause of the incident is Tatlises' belly dancer Didem, as the reporter Deniz Altintas took bikini-clad photos of Didem a while ago.
One may remember that Tatlises reacted to this very violently and talked up a storm in his live TV show."
Hope this helps. -
