So i am game to bring either 50 non refundable for my skirt or 70 and just pay for the whole thing. Is everyone ready to bring theirs on Thursday so that Laura can purchase the material? It might be perfect timing for her to have some time off dance class for the summer to work on our gypsy skirts.

Re: Skirts
Sat, June 16, 2007 - 9:33 PMI'm willing to start as soon as I get the material!
But, what do you all think of me getting cotton instead of the silk? It would remove the problems Misty has and it might make the final products somewhat lighter as it seems to be a slightly looser weave. I'm honestly not sure though. Here are the links for each of the kinds of fabric I'm looking at:

<a href="Cotton</a>" title="www.dharmatrading.com/html/en...AA.shtml">www.dharmatrading.com/html/en...AA.shtml
Let me know what you all think! -

Re: Skirts
Sun, June 17, 2007 - 7:21 AMI like the raw silk. Misty says she will be okay with it since we do not wear it for extended periods of time. I think it will make a nicer looking skirt. The silk will flow better and since it is raw silk it will have a nice texture to it as well.

Thu, June 21, 2007 - 10:22 PMI really don't think that the silk will be a problem for me. As long as I don't decide to wear it around my head, I'll be ok....

Re: Skirts
Sun, June 17, 2007 - 8:37 AMI don't mind either one they both look like pretty fabrics. What are the care instructions for them? I know we don't wear them that often but it would be great if we could wash them easily if needed.
