It is So time for a new Diva Game.....At this very moment how many rooms of your house has bellydance costumes overtakeing it? List the Rooms and tell us why......
5 rooms of my house have costumes taking up space....the majority of my costumes are in big huge plastic bins (about 7) in my laundry room. My best costumes are stacked on my dresser in my bedroom because I can't get into the bins in the laundryroom because of the laundry....my sewing room/Kitchen (yeah thats right half sewing room half kitchen) or what I like to call my sewitchen has my new costume that I hate spread all over it.....and my living room book shelf holds my costume in a dance bag that I wore the other night and don't want to have to hunt for it the next time I dance and the one my friend borrowed sits in front of the TV in a bag because I can't get to the bins....not to mention my jewelry in the bathroom.....all over the bathroom, Kinda like the jewelry fairy puked all over my bathroom because it was the only extra space we had....It would have been easier to tell you my children's room is the only room that does not have belly dance costumes in it But as soon as they are old enough not to tear them up they will.....oh yeah we only have 6 rooms in our house...we need a bigger house.....

Sun, March 11, 2007 - 7:32 PMOK so We built a custom home 2 years ago,planning around the dance stuff. I have 375 sq feet studio with 1 wall all hanging stuff, an armor full and a sewing table ..and lots of stuff just sitting on the floor. This leads down stairs into our home office/computer room. Somewhere also in this room there is a foos ball table. Presenlt covered with veils and elastic and other stuffs. To the hall.. all clear. Master bedroom... just got home from dancing in GP.. looks pretty bad. Two sets of custumes all over here and there. Master closet...yup more stuff. Master bathroom.. here's there kicker ! We have all had clogged drains... well shower drain clogged.. plumber [husband] says usual stuff [icky hair, soap.. thread,,glitter..yup usual for a belly dancer house] Back down the hall, nothing in the teanagers room or bath - do not want to hear that voice from her if I even try to put stuff there ! Kitchen - counter had dance bag for hula and belly dance. 2 sets of zils and some more elastic. Dining area has the basic I use for hula flyers. Living room.. all clear... Nope what I thought was a blanket on the back of the recliner is a cover up. I will not even think of the laundry room or the basement ! I know that there are several totes of fabric. Oh and the stupid sewing maching that gave me fits a year ago when I was sewing a costume that "busted" when it hit the dirt !
