So who’s excited to listen to me talk about ancient Egypt on July 11? I am looking forward to coming down to Omaha- especially since this is my favorite subject to teach!

Drat, I cannot go! That is the first night of the Omaha Science Fiction and Fantasy convention as well as the night of my bands next House Party. Things always seem to happen in groups.

      Hey,

The bands will be playing late at the house party so no worries there... it won't really get going until 9 or 9:30. I hope you find a ride to Gnosis 'cause I am sure the talk will be great. If I had not already paid for the whole con I would be going!

Msg me with the area of town in which you live. I live out West, but work midtown, so if you don't mind coming early, I (or one of the Divas) could swing by and get you! I really want as many students for this as we can get.

Oh, and did I mention it is now just $15 at the door? Plus, those interested can get $5 off their next bellydance session at Gnosis by attending this class.

Klaire, this was SO AWESOME!!! We definitely have to do it again. For those of you who weren't there, you really missed out! Klaire's presentation is awesome. You'd think historical-type stuff would be bland, but her slides, examples, and speaking-style really made this an enjoyable way to learn about Ancient Egypt. Included great insights for dancers, but it encompassed a variety of topics, so that non-dancers could really enjoy it, too.
