If you're not able to do the Saqra workshop on Saturday, I still really encourage you to come to the show that evening. Tickets are $10 and it starts at 7 p.m.

At the show, Della will be announcing that it is Diva Soma's 5th birthday, (as our first performance was at her workshop 5 years ago,) so it'd be neat to have lots of Diva Soma fans there. Plus, it is a good chance to see some dancers that you may not get to see very often.

Maybe we could have a birthday cake & celebration after the show!

The performance is at Central Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, 726 S. 55th St., it starts at 7 p.m. and is $10 admission. See www.delladancing.com for more info or to contact Della about the event.

What a fun show! Small crowd, but made for a cozy, intimate feel. Amazed by Shira & her sexy outfit. ooh la la And Saqra went from a tribal fusion costume in act 1 to cabaret in act 2 - talk about versatile.

I want Della's dress!!! Wasn't she gorgeous?!?! And of course, you have to love Basharaat. They are so innovative!!!

    What was your favorite part?

The show was great, and I'm glad I didn't perform. (I know I can't hold a candle to any of the other performers.) It was nice to sit and watch all of the great performers. I kept watching for everyone's "glowing green goo" during the show! Azeret's dance with the finger cymbals was great, and Della was captivating. Shira's dress was to die for, and I love her stage presence. Saqra had such versatility. Magdalene's solo was breathtaking, and I liked the Diva Soma flower-in-the-hair dance. Basharaat is always a treat, and I'm so glad they are coming to Sioux City! I had fun cheering during the "Opa" dance. I must be forgetting something though...
