by all means adapt and modify away to work with your stuff! Thanks for the compliments, I had a friend like them so much she had me make her a pair, I love them... I think they are just edgy enough to be different and fairly inexpensive. The very ends have a small mohair feather tassel with some cowries to polish off the ends so it's a little softer and you won't have just chain hanging down. =) they make me happy... I danced to Freak on Leash by korn in those for my first performance... it was perfect. .. he he he yeah for metal!
