my scarf and skirt
this isn't a very good picture but this is the skirt i've got finished so far (has no hem, currently). i made using the shira.net instructions but i used 4 panels. in the middle front and back i put two black quarter-circles over the white.
i honestly have no idea what fabric i used because i'm a sewing novice and i got it in the $1/yd section in walmart. =p hehe
our store's getting rid of its fabric section so everything's on clearance. i got the tassel for the hipscarf there, too. that was made about a month ago?
one major mistake i made with it was that i forgot to include a waist band so i had to make a separate one and then sew it on. =p ugh...
i wish my sewing machine was working...
