progress on items from last week:

1. <<not done>> - Work on small costume malfunction discovered yesterday during a 'trial run"
2. <<not done>> - Practice routine with the kidlets
3. <<not done>> - Get kidlets' costumes ordered - nope, I'm not making them -

5. <<I might have done 2 days worth here>> - Spend 15 minutes daily cleaning off my desk in the workroom - what a nightmare ((a recurring one at that))
6. <<not done>> - Repair instructor's hip shawl in return for dance space at her house ;-)

Done - just not on any list:
1. Found turquoise/black stripe 60"wide fabric, $2/yd - bought 3yds...used it all to make harem pants for class
2. Bought $5 v-neck t-shirt with lace neckline, cut it off, added some hem lace to bottom edge & sleeve hems...new top for class
3. Repaired stuffed animal and sewed button on shirt for baby kidlet

This week:
who knows - one day at a time at this point ;-)

Just got a new (to me) sewing machine that is a serious upgrade so I'm SO excited to sew :)

Make red ghawazee coat for Ky
Make purple ghawazee for Alison
new black 10 yard for me
topstitch the pile of strip skirts I have half finished and put in drawstrings

If I get through those I have a blue 25 yard skirt I want to get started on.

Just finished my belt for Tribal Fest, last night :3 The picture isn't even close to doing it justice...

My only real goals for the next week, are choreography related. Really work hard on solidifying my solo where I do have it choreographed, and work on the dances for our groupe performance.

On costuming, figure out /exactly/ or there abouts what I'm taking and wearing to tribal fest, and pack it.
Work on my shisha belt.

I have about 4 other pairs of pantaloons/pants I need to make, plus two skirts and whatever else, but I'm not making goals to have those done just yet, everything is about prep for TF this next week, but if I can get anything else done, great.

last week:
Recover from the previous week.
Demoed how to make a quick and easy bra in an instructional video.
did a photoshoot of 2 costumes
wrote about costumes and posted them on line.

Upcoming:
need to photo retouch costume photoshoots that I just did and work towards posting them.
Need to fuss with and fix all the Salome group dancers costumes and get them ready for a photoshoot and then for sale.
Need to design my next costume as well as the entire performance concept.--I am thinking RED.

Last week:
Put elastic and shorten green/black skirt-put in elastic, length was fine
Finish gold/black skirt-decided I don't need it yet, put it aside
Start working on green/black accessories- been beading like crazy on a gauntlet, I think my beads are the wrong color.
Think about blue jewelry-still thinking...

This week-continue to work on gauntlet.
