This is my green and yellow costume that I had been working on for about a year... word of advise.. the clasp behind your neck... use some sort of double clasp or sew it solid and pull over your head!

That is a lovely costume. I can see how it took a year to make! I like that you have the sleeve on the same side as the slit; it has a nice balance.

Whenever I sew clasps I have 2-3 hooks and bunch of snaps. I've also done the pull-over-the-head method, which is harder for me to put on though. When did your top come undone? I saw you put your hands behind your head, was that when it happened? I don't think I could dance and fix my costume at the same time!

It came undone when I was putting the veil down. I guess the combination of the shoulder and arm movement... i was backing up, trying to see if any of the other dancers were near the steps.. that is when I stepped into the curtain..
Ah but what do you do.. you are there to dance.. so just keep going and try and figure it out.
I was so worried through the rest of the performace that it would come undone again. - I am changing the hooks to regular pant and snpap doubles. I had used a swimsuit style hook and thought it would work.. but no such luck.

I probably wouldn't have even known that you were fixing your top in the video since you kept on moving. If you wouldn't have pointed it out, I probably would have thought that it was just how your were holding your arms.

It is a great costume though.
