Please be aware that there have been a few revisions to the Rules.
I am SUPER excited to get this going! I love the booty boxes, and am looking forward to this one. Ive been going through major Purge and organization in my studio... there is too much to fit into the box already here on my end =)

It is allot of work keeping track of everything, and as you will note, a new REQUIREMENT is a tracking #. Its free if you buy your label online and print at home.

I will be sending each of you an email with the address of the person that you are to send to. If you loose it, let me know =) I have em all!

I will post The list (without address) in a "reply" here so it doesn't get lost in the

PLEASE HAVE ITEMS IN MIND TO DONATE TO THE BOX BEFORE IT REACHES YOU. If for any reason you find that you have nothing to donate, please let me know so that the box can skip over you. I would hate for anyone to NOT be able to participate with the box, but just throwing things in because you had nothing else isn't considerate to others.

Gothic/Steampunk Booty Box Rules and Regulations:

1) To keep everything flowing well, we ask that you (a) post when you receive & mail out the box in This Thread (b) that you send out the box to the next person within ONE WEEK of receiving it. (Please contact me if there is going to be a delay)

2) The "box" will be the large USPS Priority Mail Flat-Rate Box, which has a postage cost of $13.95 PLUS $0.65 for delivery confirmation (gives us a tracking number, so we don't "lose the box in the mail"). (delivery confirmation is free if you do it up online)

REQUIREMENT: Delivery Confirmation. If you don't feel comfortable posting it on the tribe, send it to me. angelia.r@comcast.net OR Message me on facebook (I'm Angelia Rictor there)

3) Each person will take items out & put items in. Put your name on the items you add to the box. This helps people know where to go with questions, concerns or Just excitement!

4) PLEASE DO NOT PUT JUNK INTO THE BOX. I have had many people concerned with the amounts of "JUNK" type items put into the boxes. I do NOT want to see or hear of a baggie of twisted, broken chains and jewelry, Broken beads, parts of patterns, fabric pieces that are stained or not workable. Nor items that have NOTHING to do with the theme. (again, If for any reason you find that you have nothing to donate, please let me know so that the box can skip over you. I would hate for anyone to NOT be able to participate with the box, but just throwing things in because you had nothing else isn't considerate to others. )

5)Keep the Theme with the Gothic/Steampunk line. Patterns, Jewels, Components, fabric, lace, eyelets, beads, flowers, feathers, trims... Things that YOU believe are Goth or steampunk. If you have a question or concern, please message me.
I don't mind having some "cutesy" stuff in there, but PLEASE remember... Goth doesn't mean all black or red, and steampunk isn't JUST broken clock pieces.

6)Please contact me via email (angelia.r@comcast.net) if for some reason you cannot afford the shipping of the box. We will work to figure something out.

7) last but not least... HAVE FUN!

Ok, So I've put some fabric into the box. Also have put some components into the box as well.

Please... if you are only going to use a small ammt of the fabric, take that ammt, and put the rest back into the box. Some of the pieces are small, some are larger...

Or, if you are only going to use a few of an item, please just take those few, and share the rest =)

  • Okie Dokie! I'm printing my shipping label as I type!!

I put in: A pretty flower, some "leather" scraps, a few chokers that can be disassembled if need be, some pre-cut tulle, and a baggy full of magnetic tape (think I gutted a video cassette, this is great for hair falls or fringe!).

    Confirmation # 9410 8036 9930 0000 7578 21

it'll go out on Monday to Arizona!
  • The box has Landed!
