Seeing as how Nicole's life has been topsy-turvy as of late thanks to Gustav, I have volunteered to take over as Box Mom for the Mixed (ie, both Cab & Tribal...and everything in between) Booty Box.

First, for those of you who don't know what the Booty Boxes are...as Nicole said, it's a way to get cool new stuff in exchange for the stuff you have that you don't want anymore. The Box Mom gets a box and puts random bits and pieces in it (DIY components, finished pieces, fabric, etc.). She sends it to the first person on the list who takes some out and puts more in, then sends it to the next person and so on, until the end of the line when it goes back around to the first couple of people, so make up for the original skimpiness of the box.

RULES OF THE MIXED BOX:

1) To keep it from going on forever, sign-up will be limited to the first 10 people to respond here (we'll do others later if you don't get it on this one).

2) I will then PM you to ask for your mailing address details, and will give you my contact information in return.

3) To keep everything flowing well, we ask that you (a) post when you receive & mail out the box in the "Mixed Box Tracking" thread that I will start when I send it out & (b) that you send out the box to the next person within ONE WEEK of receiving it.

4) The "box" will be the large USPS Priority Mail Flat-Rate Box, which has a postage cost of $12.95 PLUS $0.65 for delivery confirmation (gives us a tracking number, so we don't "lose the box in the mail").

5) Each person will take items out & put items in. Be sure to put your name on the items you add to the box so that the person who ends up with the item can thank you/ask you questions about it/squeee over it... Items can be cabaret, tribal, tribaret, steampunk, gothic...they can be trims, baubles, fabric, hair adornments, costume pieces...you name it! So long as it can reasonably fit in the box, it's ok.
