Re: Ruffler Foot and Shirring Foot
Tue, October 28, 2008 - 10:53 AMahhhh... but there is so much more!
I just got a new "ruffler" for my regular sewing machine (so that I can put ruffles in the "middle" of ruffles =)
and its amazing. and not big and bulky... I started with the ruffler foot... the big one... and used it till it broke!
BUT... at www.newarkdress.com do a search for double shirring foot, and gathering foot =)
simple bits for cheap that work amazingly!
I couldnt live without my shirring foot for my serger!!!! Its my one true love.. ahahaah
but, I couldnt get by without either. really!

Tue, October 28, 2008 - 10:50 PMGood timing- I just bought 30 yards of various cheapo cotton to make three pairs of tiered pants (the ready mades don't fit me properly) and I was planning on sewing this weekend.

Re: Ruffler Foot and Shirring Foot
Wed, October 29, 2008 - 7:16 AMAfter driving myself nutz the past three weeks trying to complete a costume comprised primarily of ruffly bits and pieces, I swore to myself I'd go to the fabric store and get a ruffle foot "next time". I never stopped to think that there might not be instructions on how to use the damn thing!
So THANX a bizillion times over for posting these links! I downloaded the e-book and have learned a lot before I go out to make this purchase!
