Returning Burners: Give us your extra water, gear, food, clothes, supplies, tools, toys, and time.

Now doing:

1. Collecting relief supplies to drive to New Orleans, especially from returning Burning Man attendees who already have extra stuff.
2. Mobilizing Guard units to collect relief stuff.
3. Collecting unique items for public and online auctions to raise money for the relief effort
4. Coordinating with Red Cross to maintain dropoff points and get the stuff to the right spots in New Orleans and environs.
5. Shaking shit up and getting people to donate time, money, and gear.

We want your stuff. We want to collect your extra water, tents, tarps, flashlights, sweaters, socks, blankets, and so forth, and drive them directly to New Orleans and other Katrina-clobbered areas. We will coordinate with the Red Cross to find areas of need.

Now, for the fun part: To raise more funds -- or at least awareness capital -- we're auctioning off some amazing and amazingly weird artifacts and donating the proceeds to various relief funds. You may specify where your money goes.

When on the playa, Burning Man auctions involve exchanging pledges for goods and services; we do not collect money at Burning Man in any form.
