i've been meaning to post that i will be out of town for a month, but as that's already started, it's more like 3 weeks left. :-)

right now, i'm in the town of bremen in germany, in a hotel with free internet, which makes posting easier. however, we are always on the run, it seems, from one town to the next, and this morning is no different. time for breakfast soon and then another drive to the next town and the next meeting.

i'm on what we are jokingly calling the "extreme welcome" tour with steven harrison. that name is derived from some cut-ups i did at a talk one night. - that's where i write down random words being spoken in the room as i hear them, which rearranges, and sometimes distills, their meaning. that phrase describes what i sense going on.....

of course, here in germany, it becomes the "uber willkommen" tour, and other variations. we're having fun with it.

we make time for walks in each town, and i'm loving the sites and playing with my camera continually. however, it takes time to check and reduce each picture (my laptop has no battery, so i have to be plugged in!), which is why it's taking so long to get the next batch of photos up! check my blog for the URL if you're interested; i don't have time to label them so far but i'll get to that eventually!

the dialogs have been marvelous, and i'm aswim in the impressions of meeting myself everywhere in all this. some confrontations, some challenges, some spontaneous recognitions, and much beauty.

i'm really happy to be here.
