Re: What Will We Do Right NOW??
Wed, November 23, 2005 - 10:16 PMThis is really important, I used to live on the beach in Florida and the Dolphins are just beautiful and need to be protected. Now I am far away from the rivers and seas but my compassion for our peers of the water shall keep growing. -

Re: What Will We Do Right NOW??
Wed, November 23, 2005 - 10:41 PMI like the idea of education of the young. What type materials are available for school age children, where do we find them, how do we make them available in our communities. While the massacre photos are widely available not, IMHO, appropriate for small people. I was thinking more of eco-friendly, protection things they can do in their own day to day lives. -

Re: What Will We Do Right NOW??
Wed, November 23, 2005 - 11:45 PMHello!
I just found this web page that has many links to dolphin facts and knowledge for all ages of children. Possibly a good thing to pass on to any teachers of our children we may know, to integrate into the class curriculum somehow...(?)

With my daughter (21months old) we read majikul stories about dolphins and we have many pictures around too. This helps to keep theDolphins within our loving minds and hearts. -

Re: What Will We Do Right NOW??
Thu, November 24, 2005 - 12:07 AMVery cool, thanks for the lead. To be honest, I will look at it tomorro as I must sleep now. Has your daughter heard the Jimmy buffett song, Jolly Mon, the story of Dionysus and the pirates in the creation of the dolphin is a favorite one for our kids. They learned early on as well, not only do I have one tattooed, my husband worked with a gold smith to design my wedding ring as a dolphin. Anyway, thanks again.
