Byron I would have to agree with you, alot of aquariums have and still do have f*** ups and therefore research into them before accusing is nedded. I am about to join a marine conservation trip for 3 months that focuse on research of marine mammals such as dolphins, whales, sharks and of course coral and fish in their natural environment but when I return I could wish for nothing more but to dedicate my time in my passion of dolphin research, conservation and education to the population. Some aquariums assist local partners to promote local framework as the basis for a larger conservation - research initiatives. This is not an excuse at all for the aquarium organisations who for one example of many, illigally buy dolphins for captivity from foreign countries due to the laws emposed on dolphin capture around their own waters.
