Okay, I'm not sure how double-datey this would be butttttt.... I wonder if anyone else would be interested.
Puccini's Messa di Gloria is being performed for free (donations strongly encouraged) by the Berkeley Community Chorus and Orchestra.
My favorite buddhist priestess recommended this event, so I'm assuming the beauty of the music outweighs any Christian message that might be a bother.
I want to take the Monkey-boi, although he might have a hard time sitting through the entire performance. If more people came along, he could make funny faces and gestures at more people than me. Just a thought. I'm not sure which time we'd be going.
Concert Dates and Times:
Saturday, December 1 at 8:00 PM
Sundays, December 2 and
Sundays, December 16 at 4:30 PM
Location:
St. Joseph The Worker Church
1640 Addison Street in Berkeley
