so cozy up to my nice spankin' new video, brought to you by double staffs.... and me
the beginning is cross arm (*c/a) moves, then the latter is spinning. Its more about techy/geeky than anything else, because all they really are is regular moves, with your arms crossed. Some good things come about, like 5 beat c/a weaves (not shown in video....i forgot about it, then was too lazy to go back and redo it...so you can hear about it now :)......shown is a c/a forward anti-spin in front wall plane, 3 beat c/a weave, c/a stalls, and my favorite (which isn't represented so well in the video) c/s btb weave. Crossing your arms, gives an illusion (when done right, viewing from the correct plane view) that you are breaking the barriers of your arm movement, and going in a full 360 either way.. i think it makes it a 5 beat behind the back weave, not sure though. also waist wrap hip spin in c/a.

Sun, December 9, 2007 - 10:25 PMsweet! good job! I always appreciate watching moves that I have barely mastered! As a baton twirler in the 70s, I seem to stick to lots of rotations; I like your isolations. Thanks!
