I'm new here, but looked at the flyer-- that is really wonderful. A beautiful project. If I'm in Europe in the future I'll come and visit!

My husband and I bought a farm (6 acres) several years ago, but we are still fixing things up and have not got animals yet. (Well we have a pet iguana we adopted from someone who did not want him). Just an organic garden so far, but we are not at the point where we can live off it and not go to the store. Dragonmill is an inspiration.

since then i got into doing apachetas. as i travel i build them wherever i stop for rest or sleep or just in nature or even along the freeways when hitching. it's a very deep feeling.
        so... tnx for the inspiration.

could you share some of your experiences - much obliged :)

you know what is realy interesting is, all this bits togeter after some time, the start to conect by themself :
for exemble : working on permaculture in the garden and resting on her apachetta makes a deep conection allready by id self.

yes, even eating all day local organics and wild food is a healing!

huuuuuummmmm the mountains, yes. i also got a nice sense of working on your own inner balance and connecting that with the environment through balancing stones on top of each other. i was in the alantacia (sp??) region in portugal in the mountains and when i placed apuchettas there i did get a very deep connection with the spirits of the land. like by this old cork oak tree - woooosh, full power. it really made me feel like a steward of the earth.

thnx christian for helping me open up even more my own connection to the earth. i feel now that my roots are growing deeper.
permaculture and my experiences of it so far, have seeded a deep understanding of my personal need to live this way for the earth. i saw an amazing food jungle in portugal. it took the people 1,5 years of not sooooo hard work to assist it to this stage and now they just forage and eventually plant seeds here and there. really amazing.

                        bless

you know the stone balancing art is sort of a good example of how people establish new ways of finding meaningful relationship with nature... kinda like our own apuchetas.
