The first part of the dream that I remember, I was in a used bookstore selling some books.
I think I was browsing around for a bit, and I heard the owner saying to another guy "We buy ALL kinds of books, regardless of the subject matter." I saw a lady come on shift.
The books I was trying to sell in the dream was a little box set of Peter Rabbit and some other Beatrix Potter books. The lady in the bookstore said "Oh wow, I havn't seen these books in forever, are you sure you want to part with them?" I was relucant to because they were my mother's, and I felt really bad parting with them. In fact I almost re-considered. I had taken one of the books out and was flipping through it and I wanted to cry.
However, I realised why I was trying to sell them, and stood my ground. "No, I'm moving and I don't need any excess baggage." She looked the books up in her computer, and told me she could give me 4 dollars for them. She then proceeds to hand me 4 nickles. I figured I mis-heard her and started to leave, but she then says "Wait, I'm not done." and hands me 3 loonies and 4 quarters.
I start walking home, thinking about the other piles of books I could bring in to sell.
I'm not exactly sure how the dream transitioned, but I then saw Noah. He was blindfolded and playing drums sort of meditating. God was telling him about building the ark and how he had to visualize how to do it. God was telling Noah that he might not remember how to build an ark now, but if he thinks about what he will need to know and realise in andvance when he'll need to know it, it will work for him.
The rest is a little fuzzy. I remember that at one point Noah had 2 mules, and God told them one of the things he had to do was to make them sad. Noah had no idea how to do this, so he tried everything to make them sad. He eventually used magic to make them human. God was angry about this and told Noah to change them back right now.
However, Noah's wife recognised the female mule when she was in human form. I think there was another layer of commandments or signs towards an event that I wasn't aware of until she said them. But there was something about being required to spend 5 months in confinement with these people. Noah had turned the husband back into a mule and was taking him to a cellar, but the two wives were chatting, because apparently they had been on a 5 month long cruise together.
Noah's wife rushed to stop Noah because they had already spent 5 months together, and that they didn't need to do it again (in fact, there was no time to do it again, they had been worring about how there wasn't enough time, but the law mandated it.) She was amazed at how 'perfect' the timing and syncronity was that they didn't have the time, but they found a way to make it happen.
