A Year and a Day Dance Project (AYAAD Dance Project)

Mission Statement
A Year and a Day Dance Project is an opportunity for dancers to join a collaborative experience committing one full year to developing a piece of choreography of their own through goal setting and personal development. Classes, workshops, performance, and group feedback, and evaluation sessions will provide the dancers with tools for growth. The goal is to support the creative process and allow individuals to develop with a clear set of tasks to achieve that goal. The project will culminate in a showcase of the works.
Commitment:
Dancers must fully commit to the yearlong process and be able to attend the group meetings and selected workshops and critique sessions. While group choreography is welcome, it is important that all involved keep their commitment to the project for the full year.
