Absinthe from WWII

I recently had a my 19th birthday party. And i must say, I have been to alot of parties, but this one has to be the craziest i have ever been to. But there was a friend of mine, who, for lack of a better term, lost his shit.
He was bouncing off the walls, and punched a hole through the ceiling, and tried to kill the guests in 20 minute incriments. Now, with this said, one of my presents this year was a 60 year old bottle of absinthe.
And I got curious, is it safe to drink absinthe that old? Could that cause a man to go insane?He obviously drank to much, but i cant shake the feeling that the absinthe played a role in his bout with insanity.

Some wine isn't even wine (not to diss my good friend carlo, but carlo, you are not wine)

hence..... here are some good picks in the 10 dollar range for a 1.5 liter

I've found that alice white and black swan's cabernet is very good and you can usually find it for 9 to 13 bucks.

favorite drink one is absinthe, don't know how to make it ... yet

2nd favorite drink is 2 parts tequila, one part cointreau, and a little piece of lime

3rd fav is prolly a mojito, bruise a few mint leaves, spoon full of sugar, a little bit of water with sugar bleed into it, and a whole lotta clear rum

4th snakebite/poormans black velvet.... guiniuesss on top cider on the bottom

5th irish coffee, insted of using water to make coffee use jameson, kahlua, and baileys in equal parts

6th white russian, milk, baileys (or any other coffee liqour), and vodka

7th red wine.... yeah

drinking a contreau and tequila now at 3:50 est
