in an effort worthy of "The Lakehouse" I finished the Hawaii Ironman 70.3 yesterday.
It was epic, awesome and incredibly painful by the last two miles of running, but I'm glad I did it.
I accomplished my goal in that I earned a spot for the Kona Ironman, but I turned down the spot because there is just no way I can devote the next four months to training for that event and neglecting the rest of my life. :(
by the end of the race I had nothing left inside and I got all emotional. You know "feelings". Thankfully that nauseating feeling has gone away and I am back to being the cold hearted Masshole you are all familiar with.
What I'm wondering now that I have a beer in my belly and dairy on my breath is how I can model for Rhythmstar's online webstore? I KNOW that I'm pretty enough.

Re: pain is ducky
Mon, June 2, 2008 - 12:37 PMDear Pigbot; { letter to Pigboys brainplant}
Thank you for your attentive control and exemplified directives in which you auto piloted my friend and your physical host, Pigboy. Your skills as an A.I still amaze me and I want to be among the first to congratulate you on steering your physical host with swiftness for that last half a year.
When Pigboy first told me that he would be installing an A.I into his inner ear so that he could concentrate more on training, I joked and laughed. But now the results are in and it seems that the view you had staring out his beedy eyes these last few months have been a great one. I applaud your design and want to share in your rejoicing of a great run.
I knew at times that you were able to hear me, especially when I would have a conversation with PigBoy and he had that half crazed dulled over look on his face and his gaunt frame was stooped over from to much training.. it was you i was really talking to . I knew then that gazing past his listless eyes that you were fully in control of him. I know you heard my words off praise and well wishes for a healthy and speedy race, even as you re-routed the signals from his empty earholes.
I just thought I would take the time to say these words to you now that your programing is coming to a close- and will leave you- Dear Pigbot with only a kind request. When you disengage from Pigboys body please be gentle - you have put your physical host through many rigors of the flesh and since his mind is a fragile one, it would be a shame to ruin your receptors for a future fit. Disengaging to roughly may hamper his ability to eat cheese and just might push him over the edge. Thank you once again for helping him achieve his latest ans greatest victory. But now your programing is run its course and I want my friend back in one piece with a coherent ability for videogames and spreadable cheeses.
Your human host friend-ADROK -

Re: pain is ducky
Tue, June 3, 2008 - 12:28 AMthe post-race drunk-a-thon was hardly noticeable. the lack of adrok and the swapping of uncle john with Tammy's Mom really cut down on the smart-ass remarks, cross dressing, impromtu wrestling matches and amount of booze consumed.
quite possibly this was the work of the Fairmont Orchid security droid psychic reprogramming department. nothing goes awry at a Fairmont hotel. At least that is how it seemed while we were inside the perimeter gathering air samples.
where do I mail the air samples?

Sun, June 8, 2008 - 4:33 PMHaving reviewed the photographic evidence, I'd say you were in pain on the bicycle also. Would it help if I humped Tammy's mom's leg in absentia? -
