Pretty interesting

Hi! I am VERY new to Tarot and got my first deck - Tarot of the Moon Garden. The images drew me and so I purchased. I am slowly going through each cardright now and getting my own impressions and writing them down. Then I am going back and reading what is in the book. I was checking for online groups for this deck specifically and found this: www.tarotpedia.com/wiki/ind...Main_Page

You may have already seen it but I thought it was pretty cool...:)

Anyway, I look forward to learning here...:)

Many Blessings!

Mary K Greer rocks because she has written numerous books on the tarot, and also wrote a book called "Women of the Golden Dawn", which is a fascinating account of some of the intimate history behind that organization, focusing on the women who were in it during its formation. The current books that she has produced are great on many levels - they are very thorough and clear, good for beginners, and offer new ways of looking at the cards, new ways of interpreting and reading the cards, and new ways of exploring and expanding your understanding of the cards. They are very refreshing, and great for newbies.

Re Mary Greer - Thanks - Amazon here I come!

I have a wonderful Aquaruan deck printed in 1970, and while I understadn individual cards just fine, its their interplay in a spread that eludes me.

I think "Women of the Golden Dawn" is a must have book and I really appreciate Mary K Greer's efforts to get Pixie the recognition she deserves. There is a link to an article she wrote in the blog.
