Got this from the Aeclectic Tarot Forum (www.tarotforum.net/) and thought I'd post something likewise here, because it's really fun...
One person asks a question, the next person will draw a card and answer it, then ask a question himself, and so on...
You can even participate more than once if you like.
Okay, I'll start:

Re: One question, one card, one answer
Tue, January 15, 2008 - 8:48 AMSix of Cups
You need to get in touch with your past.
What qualities - sensitivity, receptivity. Develop your ability to be like a child, or to look at things as through the eyes of a child.
Ok, my turn -
What do I need to do in 2008 to become financially secure? -
-
Re: One question, one card, one answer
Tue, January 15, 2008 - 10:57 AMCard for Martemis:
2 of Cups
The key to your financial stability in 2008 lies in partnership. This may be in the form of a business partner - someone who is an equal in your workplace/business who complements your skills and talents - together you'll be a formidable team. On a personal level, a romantic committed relationship will also help your financial stability as you'll share resources. My last hit is that 2008 calls on you to marry two passions you have in your work - if you can find a way to make money doing your seemingly disparate interests, it will bring you security for the long run.
My turn:
What does 2008 bring me in the area of love/sex?

Wed, January 16, 2008 - 11:21 AMSharka - was that the card drawn for Leila Jo? Do you have an interpretation? Or maybe it speaks for itself - light some candles & sprinkle that bed with rose petals Leila Jo...
Yes - Sharka - what's your question? -
-
Re: One question, one card, one answer
Fri, January 18, 2008 - 9:26 AMoh...my question..here i am.. is: Am I on the right path? Right now? I have no idea where I am going in life. The future unsure. -

Re: One question, one card, one answer
Tue, April 15, 2008 - 12:03 AMSharka,
I drew the "Queen of Wands." With the Queen, that probably means you're more on top of things than you realize, but the wands influence is telling you it's okay to have fun for the time being. Go play, have fun, be flirty. You don't have to settle down to any one thing just yet.
My Question:
Will I have a full-time salaried job before the year is through?

Re: One question, one card, one answer
Sat, January 26, 2008 - 5:32 PMA man is coming. But the knight of cups unlike the prince of cups who is open to sharing his love (Thoth image)... the knight of cups to me seem more austere... like you can come if you want to but it's all about me... that kind of thing I'll even compare it to Narcissus... You'll have your work cut out for you!!! -
-
Re: One question, one card, one answer
Sun, January 27, 2008 - 2:23 PMThanks for the interpretation Crystal. I do have a clarification question for you though...are you reading it for the Thoth Knight of Cups? As I understand it Crowley changed up some of the royal cards so what is the Knight of Cups in Thoth is actually the Page of Cups in most other tarot decks. Which means the Knight of Cups in other decks relates to the Prince of Cups in the Thoth deck. Does that change your interpretation for my question at all? -
-

Sun, January 27, 2008 - 3:03 PMThanks for the interpretation Crystal. I do have a clarification question for you though...are you reading it for the Thoth Knight of Cups? As I understand
Actually Yes I am. It's the only deck I own. What deck are you using. -
-
Re: One question, one card, one answer
Sun, January 27, 2008 - 3:26 PMHi Crystal - thanks for your input. I use the Worldspirit which is ordered like traditional decks rather than the Thoth. Anyhoo, I guess the question of which deck was used to pull a card in response to my question should have been directed to Sharka who pulled the card but didn't provide an interpretation.
Anyway...back to the thread at hand:
In response to Zoe's question - What will be the outcome of 1/31/08?
Ace of Swords - You will be cutting loose from the situation for better or worse. It will be a clean, swift break and will open up your mind and energy to new inspiration and opportunities. It can also mean a clearing out of mental clutter or new information that completely shifts your focus from what you've always done on auto-pilot.
My question - What do I need to focus on workwise for 2008? -

Re: One question, one card, one answer
Fri, January 18, 2008 - 9:13 PMok i have a new question!! today i had an inteview for a job i quite desire. will i get the job? can i ask the cards?? or is that no no... -
-
Re: One question, one card, one answer
Sat, January 19, 2008 - 11:16 PMYou can ask the cards.
I'm drawing one for that question, but I'm not sure it's an answer: Knight of Coins (from the lord of the rings deck) It's described as the ability of need to develop one's career/vocation. I always see the knights as -opportunity-. You might get a 2nd interview, in which you will want to 'wow'
them. Regardless, this article might help: chronicle.com/jobs/2000/1...0120801c.htm Good Luck! -

Re: One question, one card, one answer
Sat, January 19, 2008 - 11:19 PMOh, my question.
who is my next love partner? (not their name, not like "johnny depp" , but i wouldn't mind.)
Thanks! -

Re: One question, one card, one answer
Sun, January 20, 2008 - 1:22 AMI drew Uruz/Strength from the RuneCard deck. In essence it seems you really need to be alert in order to find this next partner - if you blink you may miss the opportunity you're seeking. The lovely thing about this deck is that the runes are also an alphabet so look for someone with the letter "u" somewhere in the name. This card is also about looking beyond the surface - don't dismiss someone you meet just because s/he is different than the "type" you're usually attracted to - look beyond to the depths the surface obscures.
Now for my question: What do I need to know in order to choose the best path from this point in my life?
Peace,
Raven -

Sun, January 20, 2008 - 5:06 PMRaven
I got the Hermit as the answer to your question. Introspection and a time to retreat from life for a bit. There is a dawning of enlightenment on the way once you have done that...or if you are in this stage it will come to you soon. You can't make it happen by force. For now enjoy this time that you have to rest and gather your energy. The path will be revealed soon.... -

I got the Hermit as the answer to your question. Introspection and a time to retreat from life for a bit>
An additional meaning of The Hermit: it can refer to initiation. So you may come closer to the solution to your question by finding an initiatory group that appeals to you and joining. Or if you already belong to one, you should consider taking the next initiation.
I hope this is helpful.

Re: One question, one card, one answer
Tue, January 22, 2008 - 1:20 AMI'm not being funny, but I can't believe how thick some of you guys are on this thread!
It's very, very s i m p l e, it couldn't be simpler.
The idea is this: Someone turns a card in response to a question, after they have responded they then leave a question of their own, someone else comes along, turns a card, and responds to that question, then they ask a question of their own, so that the next person will turn a card to answer that question and then they ask a question of their own, and so on, and so on, in a chain sequence.
Got it?!
Unbelievable!
I suppose someone will have to start all over again. Here goes:
How will I come to get on with J?

Tue, January 22, 2008 - 1:02 PM<<I'm not being funny, but I can't believe how thick some of you guys are on this thread! >>
I'm not laughing. And it's Sprye's turn, not yours, Draco.
Maybe you want to pull a card for Sprye and then ask your question.
If it's so simple, how come you did it wrong? -
-
Re: One question, one card, one answer
Tue, January 22, 2008 - 7:39 PMThe internet lacks tone of voice, but the post was written in mock despair and I was attempting to get the chain going again, Sprye didn't ask a question. If you'd you or someone had answered mine, I or somebody else would have come and answered and asked, and by time Sprye got here she would have realised how to have played the game and she could have answered and asked then.
I wasn't trying to disrupt the flow, that has happened throughout. I was trying to get the ball rolling again.
It's a simple game.
Now it's stalled again. *rolleyes*

Tue, January 22, 2008 - 8:48 PMppose someone will have to start all over again. Here goes:
How will I come to get on with J?
Draco>10 of Pentacles>>>life of abundance, wealth, security. Open your eyes to what you can experience in what a gray life can really have to offer. Can proclaim a wonderful and joyous time thru partnerships. Keep your eyes open to small gestures and other things that we do not or no no longer perceive because of habit or blindness.
Year 2008 where does my life path lead?

Re: One question, one card, one answer
Wed, January 23, 2008 - 2:51 PMZoe
From the "Messages from Your Angels" Oracle deck and meditation, I drew the angel Arielle. Arielle is a part of a large group of angels assigned to you to help you develop your spiritual gifts. Her(their) message to you is the year 2008 is a time of new psychic and spiritual experiences. These will be changing the way you view the world and yourself. Allow your spiritual gifts to open this year through study, prayer and meditation. You will be sent additional help through the form of spiritual teachers, books, and classes so that you can further open up and develop your spiritual abilities. Let go of any fear you may have of your spiritual gifts as your angels wil help you heal in this area, just ask and it will be given. In this year the your angels ask that you regularly send the divine love and light within you towards those who need it most. Simply hold the intention of sending beams of love and light towards any situation, person, animal or plant and it will be done. They say you are an "earth angel" and thank you for your assistance.
Now my turn:
Which healing modality should I channel most of my energy into?
Summermoon -

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
Re: One question, one card, one answer
Wed, January 23, 2008 - 3:36 PMHI Summermoon,
I got The Magician card for you...:) This is from The Tarot of a Moon Garden: This is a card of manifestation. Where your desires are realized. Is there something specific that keeps drawing you in with healing. Which one feels "right" to you? This card also speaks of clarity and focus. Maybe the answer has something to do with this aspect of healing - that this aspect with it may dominate the others. No matter what it looks like whatever you choose or intuitively feel is the right one, it will come easy for you. This card speaks of realizing your own personal power but be wary of misuse of power. Let the healing flow naturally and with positive loving intent no matter what you do and you will reach that alchemical gold with this..:)
I hope this helps - I am still learning...:)
My question is what do I need to focus on this year in regards to my own personal magic?
Hugs and blessings - even to the hijacker...;) -
-
Re: One question, one card, one answer
Sat, January 26, 2008 - 11:06 AMSprye:
I'll bite.
I have just pulled out the Ace of Cups for you, from my own Pack.
That seems to talk to me of new beginnings and a sense of replenishment and joy - drinking at the well of renewed inspiration.
It therefore suggests a great deal to give to others in this process, though because of the sense of newness here, it does also indicate that you may derive this sense of renewal from a new relationship, an approach or discovery that may bring you a fresher perspective on things.
Only in this way does the cup promise to remain full - emotional energies could be strong, but easily drained by a stifling environment that does not allow for any new growth. It may also mean that wherever you are stuck right now, it is only by focussing on your deeper feelings and neds that you may be able to work through any blockages or ruts this year - but the opportunities to do this may be meeting ypu halfway-
My question - if I want to move forward, is it more a question with staying where I am, or in making a more radical move eventually -

Re: One question, one card, one answer
Sat, January 26, 2008 - 7:28 PMOK....I pulled the 2 of Cups for you Shosha.
This card is Venus in Cancer, so with regard to your money situation, it will ebb and flow based on how much your nurture the money relationships in your life. If you love the ways you make money, then you have the ability to prosper. Hope this helps. :)
My question:
What is my proper attitude toward my current relationship that is ending? -
-
Re: One question, one card, one answer
Sun, January 27, 2008 - 2:08 AMJames: 6 of cups (Golden Tarot)
Proper attitude would be to appreciate the relationship you've had with this person, remember and honor all the good things you've been through together.
Nexus7: 2 The World (Golden Tarot)
The end of an important period in your life is near. Whether you'd push this or not, things will come to a conclusion sooner or later and you will move forward into a new future with new possibilities.

Re: One question, one card, one answer
Sun, January 27, 2008 - 1:44 PMPrincess Judy,
What do I need to do to make my career succesful?
From the Ascended Masters Oracle deck I drew Hina, her message is freedom. Your soul is crying out for more freedom, especially where it involves your life purpose. This card signifies that it is time to leave a situation you have outgrown. Question the validity of any rules you have imposed on yourself. Take a break so that you can think clearly about your desires and available options. Be assertive and say no to anyone who is overstepping your boundaries.
My question: should I stay with my current boyfriend? -

Re: One question, one card, one answer
Sun, January 27, 2008 - 2:55 PMSummermoon,
Should You Stay With Your Current Boyfriend?
SUFFERING>DIVINE HEALER
Accidents>Sickness>Trauma>Betrayal
Sometimes being human we can't help but be vulnerable which comes along with pain. Your Divine Teachers are here to confront you ,so you don't have to struggle to get thru the day, keep you grounded and not attract drama to your life. Accept any upset that may be happening for it will bring you insight and understanding and in time peace. You will heal.
