  I am starting a website, also (www.gabbyturner.com). What do you do to advertise? It seems like San Francisco would be a good place to be able to advertise locally... I'm in Knoxville, TN... I still think local advertising could be helpful to me here, but in SanFran surely there are more people who are interested in divination and new-agey sorts of things.
  
  I think one of my blocks in creating this business is the fear of telling people that what I do for a living is run a tarot-reading website. :P sigh.

    I think each of us who steps forward loosens up the populace bit by bit and makes it easier for Tarot to become part of the common experience.

          I encourage people to be and do who they really are....and to let people know how to find you when you're ready. In my case I was a bit underground doing my work mostly through word of mouth, and also working in metapohysical stores advertised by them. Since I've been on my own for a while now, it was time to launch a site that wasn't dependent on other sites.
          
          Just going with the natural flow.....

            I've been producing SF BATS since 1991, been reading and teaching (for $/barter) over 35 years
            
            Btw, I think this is great - looking at people's sites, seeing what they're doing, and how they're doing it, from all over the country (and in some cases elsewhere)
