Most of us born with Capricorn on the Ascendant will have Gemini on the cusp of our Sixth House (depending, of course, on the latitude and time of year of birth as well as the house system being used). Here are a few comments about what that means:

The Sixth House
The Work Environment, Duties, Health
The sixth house is the field of service. Subjects here revolve around work and health matters. Duties, practical responsibilities, and mundane tasks are affairs of this house, as are relations with employees and coworkers. Your interest in health and fitness matters are likely to be shown here.

Gemini
The influence of Gemini on the cusp of the sixth house suggests a wide variety of work. You can handle technical details without any problem. You are one who is very prone to become deeply engrossed in your work. For this to occur, your work must provide intellectual stimulation and challenge. You dislike boring and repetitious tasks. You like to work with your mind, and you are likely to succeed in fields related to scientific research, business or finance. You can write clear and concise reports, and review a wide selection of alternatives, normally choosing the right solution. Overwork is apt to have a harmful effect on your nerves. Tension is a severe problem for many with this rising sign; muscles may tighten and teeth may grind even as you sleep.

    New here... must comment...

    >The influence of Gemini on the cusp of the sixth house suggests a wide variety of work.

Jacqueline of All Trades here! I do love variety.

    >You can handle technical details without any problem.

I do love details.... wish more people did (so I would not have to be correcting so many mistakes).

    >You are one who is very prone to become deeply engrossed in your work.

You said it, Brother... especially when Scorpio's at Midheaven.

    >For this to occur, your work must provide intellectual stimulation and challenge.

Wouldn't have it any other way.

    >You dislike boring and repetitious tasks.

    I'd rather shoot myself..

    >You like to work with your mind, and you are likely to succeed in fields related to scientific research, business or finance.

Yes, if I hadn't been sick so much every spring from Gemini- related illness (upper respiratory), I'm sure I would've finished college and gone into something involving graphs, pie charts, numbers, stats..

    >You can write clear and concise reports

Very true. Nobody asks me to do that, but I could. I know I could.

    >Overwork is apt to have a harmful effect on your nerves. Tension is a severe problem for many with this rising sign; muscles may tighten and teeth may grind even as you sleep.

You said it, Brother. I need to be earning a lot more just so I could keep a massage therapist, personal trainer and chiropractor on the payroll. Well, I do have Neptune at Midheaven, so there's my fantasy.

The above description is EXCEPTIONALLY accurate! Wow, amazing.....

And the keywords here are variety and versatility when it comes to career. With the scientific research part of it, I was always interested in science. I'm a Physician Assistant currently. However, due to some startling revelations, I'm making a big career change to the field of professional acting. I've got moon, mars, and venus Trine aspects to Neptune, which all filter into Pluto. This gives me the emotional transformation power necessary for some pretty potent acting.

And the Gemini on 6th House indicates that I may be a chameleon of sorts in the acting profession, donning a variety of roles. INTERESTING, isn't it? I'm totally allowing astrology to guide my future and my decisions....it's just up to me (and you) to capitalize on it all. That's all there is to it.
