It probably means I'm getting old, or at least not paying enough attention to popular culture, but I really have no idea what dharma punx or buddha punx are. Can someone enlighten me on that front?
I can say for myself that I am queer, and I practice Zen.

For myself and for many of my friends who found the punk/anarchist/activist scene we were in search of an extreme experience of of life, for the good and the bad. Buddhism in it's many forms seems to be the only path that provides extreme peace on par with what we were looking for and experiencing the present moment can be a very intense thing. Many of the perspectives in Buddhism also express many of the same ideas found in punk/anarchist culture; such as living in the now and seeing things as they really are without judgment etc. That's what I've found anyway.
