Work from Home

topic posted Thu, March 25, 2004 - 7:01 AM by  DaMom
Anyone doing anything to earn money while at home? I have looked, but most seem to be major scams, in my opinion. They don't even give clear explainations of what they are about until you pay them money...What's with that?
I would like to find something I can do from home to make some money to help my hubby out, and pay for my schooling, but, don't want any of the scams out there. If there is anything that has been researched and found a good shot. I would like to hear about it. Thanx!!

I have an opportunity for you! I am a very blunt person! I have been scammed out of $400 - $1000, so I know what you mean. Please go to www.momswin.com/14u2remember. I choose not to tell you about it in this group - because I do NOT want the abuse of others criticizing my business. If you want the facts, ask me and I will tell you.

Sherri: I do a little "market research" on the side. I do get paid, but not much. More important to my family is the free food, free services, free stuff. Let me know if you are interested and I'll give you some websites via e-mail. :)

You may want to let people know that this is another of those places that ask you to send them money ($29). In my experience, any company that asks for money should be treated as a scam. I'm not saying this one is, truthfully I don't know. But, I wish I didn't have to search and search to find out that they ask for money.

I also don't get what the concept is. "You can make money with your business through bonuses, Net marketing, cost savings and other perks." I don't get it. To me that sounds like you just get discounts on stuff. That's not making money.

Please let me know if I misunderstand.

My wife and I work for Willow handling customer service calls from home. She works about 50 hours per week, and I work 15. It usually takes about $400-$600 to startup, which includes registering an LLC or Corp with the state, installing high speed Internet and phoneline, and training costs, but well worth it. You can work in 1/2 hour increments.
  • My wife and I are Cyberagents for Willow, as Independent Contractors. We take emergency roadside assistant calls for people calling in that are broken down in the vehicle. I do it part time, and my wife does it full time. We can work in 1/2 hour increments. It takes some steps to get started, but works out well once you get going. It's nice to be able to work a second job without driving to it... Just take a stroll down the hall to your home office. Doesn't matter if your hair is standing up on end or not, who will know?

Hi Sherri, my name is Tracy and I have owned my own home based business for almost two years now and if you are still serious about looking into a home based business I would love to give you information about my business. The best way to do that is if I can contact you directly so I can give you the information that you require to make an educated decision. I would require about 5 minutes of your time just to determine if we have some common interests. If we do we'll move forward. If not we will just have had a nice 5 minute information session. Does that sound fair? Contact me through my RainbowWarrior@shaw.ca email address or IM me at Sparklely_Girl@yahoo.ca.

Take care and have a fantastic day!

Hi Sherri, my name is Melessia. I also have a home based business. Its one of the easiest and cheapest ones out there, to be honest with you. I sell candles. Its really that simple. If your interested let me know, if not thats cool too. email me at melessiawork@yahoo.com or if you want to see what kind of candles they are before you contact me you can go to my website. www.simplesensations.scent-team.com
  • I just noticed and its 2006 that my reply/post was very old... I left Melaleuca...MOMSWIN in May of 2004 and then rejoined in October of 2004 with a new group who gives FREE LEADS. I didn't start building my business until October 2005. I made director in one month and make over $100 (residual - by doing nothing) a month. I understand the comment about giving money = scam. This company is a 90-day money back guarantee and the $29 creates your account, giving you a business kit - details about Melaleuca - how to build your business etc. DVD, CD, etc. etc. If you are not satisfied with the business you can return it all and get your money back. Go to www.mnow.info to see what my group offers. One of the 10 Corporate Directors with Melaleuca is our leader = Jim McCune and he personally is involved with us on a daily basis. Sends us free leads, 50 at a time, and they WORK GREAT! If you do not know what a lead is ... someone interested in a home business (you get their name, address, phone, email, whenever they requested the info - date and IP address). I build my business specifically off leads. Others do IN HOMES and get 4-8 enrollments everytime. That is how you get the BONUS and HIGHER INCOME fast! If you look at this business with an open mind you will see its benefits. If you immediately assume the worst or that its a scam ... then you are missing out on a wonderful opportunity. There are MANY home businesses that "WORK" and give you a "GREAT INCOME" and I applaud ANYONE that is involved with one! My free website is www.traceykirkland.mnow.biz and yes its generic info about home business. When you request add'l info through my website - an email is sent to me and I am able to directly call you and tell you about MELALECUA. You are not allowed to have the Melaleuca name on your website! If you want more info... here are some more sites .... www.melaleuca.com www.saferforyourhome.com www.rmbarry.com
    • I just joined up with Melaleuca. I am really interested in using the web as a tool in adding to my business instead of doing the traditional cold call. I can't seem to find anyone in my support group that has used this approach. So, when I ran into this discussion, I thought I would ask. Do you feel like the web is a good tool to use.

this thread looks pretty old ... I hope someone here might appreciate for this info.

I am involved three network businesses.

        1) water generator machine that get rid of free radicals inside a body and it is proved as a medical device in Japan. you could be a distributor without purchasing any of their products, however, their products cost $1300 - $3000 or more. the quality is the best on the market. ( more info go to www.mermaidsutra.com ... click Water and Earth )

        2) gas pill that save gas and reduce emissions and does more. I have been using and also the best quality on the market. investment will be $200 or more at the first plus $59 for enroll fee ( annual ) and $50 a month for auto-ship. ( www.eco.myffi.biz/ )

        3) energy drink that helps maintain/improve heath and mental clarity and more. no sign up fee. and either $30 a month or $60 two month, that is all, easy and gentle ( www.m2cglobal.com/uchu ) this website doesn't say much, though.

if anyone want to know more, please send me a message. and if anyone wants to sign up for any of the products I introduced above, I rather be contacted so I can give you a different website that I can support the people under me instead of through mine.

it is my wish to promote true health and wealth to be returned to us for our planet and our children of the future.

Hello all.. I just started my own internet based business. I need people to contact schools and other community organizations in their area and they will earn a commission on what the organizations purchase. The cost to get into this is minimal and it covers my costs for the bracelet you get to show to the organizations.

My website is www.thespiritweaver.com if you care to take a look. I would love to hear from you. Like I said, I started this business and it is NOT a MLM organization.
