This board is for all events and classes in the Atlanta metro area that pertain to belly dance.

This board is sponsored by Anahita Belly Dance. We are a small group based in Atlanta, Ga. We teach a combination of Egyptian Cabaret, Traditional Middle Eastern Dance and Tribal Belly Dance. Our class goal is to build a Belly Dance community in Atlanta. Our class is trying to help the Atlanta Community come together in several ways. We throw a Hafla twice a year and invite the Atlanta Belly Dance community. We are starting a Belly Dance night the last Thursday of the month. We would like to invite all Belly Dancers in the area to come and participate~ to dance, bring different styles of music, and to share ideas with one another. Everyone has there own style~ We think everyone can bennefit from this experience.

Our classes meet Thursday at 726 Spring Street, Atlanta, Georgia, It is a Belly Dance Fusion class. Cost is $7, starts promptly at 8pm. Our Class is for intro to intermediate levels. We have two teachers to cater to your needs. We will begin with the basics of Egyptian Cabaret and move on to a variety of different styles from American Tribal, Arabic, Persian, Turkish, and Moroccan. Drop-ins are always welcome.
