I'll be there sometime after the new year. I was wondering who over there does sort of fusion-y stuff. Not necessarily Tribal Fusion as it has come to be known, but just *other than* cabaret, egyptian, or tribal/ATS. I'm looking for a good teacher, or just people to dance with. Does anyone go to the drumcircle at the land trust?

Re: Moving to Atlanta
Fri, June 26, 2009 - 6:16 AMPreferably Decatur, or at least in that general area, but we're open to other areas as well. I don't mind driving (or riding Marta) a ways to get to class. I used to live in Dunwoody, then in Kennesaw, and everything I wanted to do was all the way across town, so I'm used to it. Though I know traffic is worse now given how much the population has expanded. -

In fact, their 1st show will be at Nicola's Restuarant 7/26. Come and check us out. I plan to dance in a song called Batalik. We shall see...there are about 16 counts I have to really work on.

Re: Moving to Atlanta
Fri, July 3, 2009 - 6:21 AMThanks ladies! I'm really excited. I'll be trying all of them, I'm certain. I love getting different perspectives. And I don't mind driving to Lawrenceville to take classes, especially from such a talented group of dancers. :)
Jerri: AFBD is at the top of my list. One of the students there, named Kim, sent me a PM saying that I should check them out, so I took a look at the website and I'm definitely interested.
I just wish we would be there sooner. The days are moving like molasses.
