Narah will sponsor a Basic Belly Dance Technique I workshop series on Saturdays in February (Feb. 2, 8 16, 23). The instructors include Avani (one of Narah's students who has gone through teacher training with Narah) and Kari Merlina Kizina of Purple Matilda (www.purplematilda.com). 10:00am - 12:00pm $85

Also on the Saturdays in February, Narah will teach two "Basics II" workshops, a Bodacious Belly Dance Moves and Combinations workshop, and an Advanced Unique Layers for Tribal Fusion Belly Dance workshop. All workshops will be held at the Pizzazz Dance Studio in Sabraton, WV and are limited to 25 people. See further details below:

Basic Belly Dance Technique II

In these workshops, Narah will cover movements that are part of the technical foundation, but not normally taught in an introductory or Basic Technique I class. They are an essential part of your Belly Dance repertoire, but a little more complicated than basic hip snaps, hip circles, shoulder shimmies, etc. Completing a Basic Belly Dance technique class is recommended, but not required (as long as you are OK going over those concepts quickly.) February 2nd and 9th 1:00pm - 3:15pm $50

Bodacious Belly Dance Moves and Combinations

Spice up your solos or troupe numbers with these most excellent moves and combinations. Narah's original ideas will keep you moving through improvisation, add dynamics to any choreography and bring out the best in Improvisational Choreography. Beginners welcome, but it is going to be a more advanced pace. February 16th 1:00pm - 3:30pm $30

Unique Layers for Tribal Fusion Belly Dance (and more!)

Keep your Belly Dance prowess fresh with these unique layers. It is doubtful that you have seen them in other workshops... (you'll have to come to find out ;) ). We will break them down so you can drill properly at home. You'll have great party tricks after this workshop! Be sure to practice those foundational movements beforehand! You can use the Narah and Jala Tribal Fusion Belly Dance Technical Foundation Instructional DVD, available in the market place. February 23rd 12:30pm - 3:00pm $30

Dance Show at MT Pockets Theatre February 23rd!
Narah, Kari and Avani will all perform in a dance show featuring various dance forms representing the elements. The show will be at MT Pockets Theatre in Morgantown, WV. Further details TBA.
