While waiting to get on the bridge after BAGG a couple ago it occurred to me it would totally rock if it were announced at the end of the night saving a lot of us club commuters time by taking a direct path to the onramp instead of in the grid lock of the detour path.

I've always wanted to go to BaGG but I want to fit in. However I don't have $1500 for a XXXXXL Leather Daddy outfit.

I have a lot of denim and overalls and my motorcycle jacket. Would it be possible to work these up into acceptable club wear?

Public transport to the Glas Kat

As people ask from time to time, this is useful information:

Catch BART to Powell Station. Cost is $3.05 from Downtown Berkeley BART.
Catch a taxi or walk down 4th Street to 520 4th Street. Taxi fare is ~$6.
Enjoy. :)
Either catch BART home before about 12:30am (don't check BART schedule at your peril), or go to the bus depot at Mission Street and 1st Street to catch the N bus home - fare is $3.50 with transfer. The N bus gets you to downtown Oakland, and then you can transfer to several buses: 51 and 40 for downtown Berkeley along College Avenue and Telegraph Avenue respectively, and there are other buses to transfer to for those not in Berkeley.

Option B is to post on this tribe and demand, beg, or otherwise canoodle a ride back to the East Bay.

Carpool + inspiration

So here's the thing. I never go to BaGG anymore because I suck. Well, because my SO is always too tired and then I don't feel like going alone and blah blah blah. All my friends then give me shit, saying just come out fer cryin' out loud, it's not like you won't have tons of people to hang out with once you actually pry your ass off the couch and get to the club, and of course that's true.

So my thought was, if I offered to drive, then I'd have the inspiration, because I'd have someone else counting on me. I'm in North Oakland, but would be happy to pick folks up in a reasonable radius in Oaktown or Berkeley. You would of course have to put up with my driving (it's really not that bad) and my taste in music (ditto . . . um, Gwydion's not on this tribe, right? Okay, I can claim those two things with some impunity . . . Shut up, Shatter . . .)

on the new Tribe endeavor. So many Newbies are living in the East Bay (OAK/ Emeryville/Berk) right now that this Tribe just made good sense.

You are our "Special Needs" children. We dont want for you to get stranded in a shitty coffee shop 'til Bart opens up or get sharked by strangers offering rides to/from the venue. The Tribe within a Tribe setup should function as a means of you EBBaggaholics to make sure your needs are being addressed at the club, share/pool rides, experiences and have frequent, noisy sex with each other.

I, unfortunately am a 3rd generation San Franciscan so for now - fuck 'y all.
