Vara Healing Arts in Albany off Solano Avenue is looking for massage therapists to support our efforts in offering a Free Healing Day for Cancer Patients. This charity event will be held on November 3rd from 1:30pm - 5:30pm in our large, naturally lighted yoga studio.
To participate in this day of heart centered giving back, you will need to bring your own table or massage chair (preferrably a massage chair for space reasons). You may also bring a TV tray size table for your business cards and/or promotional material. We will have two 45 minute educational lectures throughout the day: An "Eating Ayurvedic" talk delivered by our onsite Ayurvedic Practitioner and a "Home Massage Techniques for Caretakers" delivered by one of our CMT's here at Vara.
This is shaping up to be a beautiful event we are proud to sponsor. We expect a large turnout of patients but space is limited to 20 Therapists. Join us in our vision if you feel so called.
