By which calendar does Chinese astrology follow? As a January baby, my birthday falls after the solar new year, but before the lunar new year!

Wed, November 1, 2006 - 7:13 AMHi Beve, Go to www.suzannewhite.com. Put in your birth date and eureka! You will know your Chinese sign in a second. It's common for January babies to fall into the previous year's Chinese sign. Let me know. Suzanne@suzannewhite.com...sw

Re: Chinese Astrology - Lunar or Solar?
Sun, August 3, 2008 - 12:03 PMAstrology is independent from calendars. The 12 spirits have their time. There are many Chinese astrologies, mostly equatorial. I am hairpin on the battlement wall. What you do is guessing years according to Vietnamese zodiac, that is also in use in China, but that has nothing really to do with Chinese astrology. Take Derek Walters for example and the I Ching Aspectarian of Taixuanching.
