Re: Sera/East Coast Tribal on 3/22
Mon, March 24, 2008 - 7:48 PMThis show really expressed Sera's "bold bellydance" ethos of women empowered through dance...well done! And a bonus "hurrah" for the sensational live/electronic music stylings of Imani & the Rhythm Shamans: Mikio, Mz Imani, Meryl Jones, Dan Covan and guest violinist Hanna Thiem. This ensemble formed a musical web that connected scene to scene in a dreamy atmospheric backdrop. Absolutely inspired fusion of dance and music-congratulations to all!
