Congratulations to Vorona, who danced beautifully at two very different events this past week: at Galapagos in Brooklyn at Sarah Locke's always amazing Hybrid show, and last night at the Nassau/Queens Drum Circle's 14th Anniversary event where she performed two drum solos with Jeff Webb on doumbek and frame drum. I knew she was talented, but after seeing these two performances I'm really impressed with her versatility. Kudos to you, Vorona!!!
(BTW, we all "expect" great stuff from Jeff on doumbek...but who knew he could be so awesome on the frame drum? Great job, Jeff!)

Until Saturday night I had about 3 or 4 dancers that were my absolute favorites to play drum solo with and now I MUST add Vorona to that list.
She is a perfect professional with a style that is "to die for" and really knows how to interact with a drummer and to read signals and to give them. When a drummer works with a dancer of this talent and skill, everybody looks good. I want to thank Vorona for making me look good, and by now with all of the talk afterwards, I'm sure that she knows that she stole the hearts of all of the audience.
Let me add ":Huzzah!. Hoorah!, Bravo!, Ave!, Vivant!" for Vorona. -

It's folks like yourself that I thoroughly enjoy performing for and it's the joy that dancing brings to my life that captures my heart. Jeff, I can't say enough great things about you- You are truly amazing and we connect so well as a team. Your talents are highly appreciated in a world where we need great drummers. I"m so excited about everything upcomming... By the way, If you have a chance to check out the Tribal Caravan Tribe Page there's a weekend full of feedback from a GREAT time! I had so much fun and I met some of the most incredible, fun-loving people.
