i was in 11th grade, so that would be like 95 and it was on public radio back in michigan. waiting on an angel. been hooked ever since. seen him 5 times, wait no 6. wait 5. whatever.

Fri, May 14, 2004 - 4:00 PMI was in my first year of college '96. Some new friends I had met were into him and I was in love from the first time I heard Fight for Your Mind. We had a chance to see him live in Santa Barbara so we packed up the car, drove eight hours and saw him for the first time. I was in love! The high light of the trip was sneaking back stage and meeting him! He was so humble and grateful that we were there. It was a life altering experience I'll never forget!
