You seem to have sunk to a new low, Dan... have you been out in the heat to long or what?

      Consider the source.

Apropos to our little yipping creationist chihuahua.

Snapping at every perceived threat that challenges his myopic, fuzzy definition of How It Is. Certainly I've found these behaviors quite indicative of most fundamentalists who see their world view challenged by thoughts alien to them, by immutable facts that hack away at the rotted roots of a belief system under siege.

In fact, I envision folks like Dan barking in a circle not knowing which threat - which academic discipline - to bite at. The fact that evolution as a science is incorporated and acknowledged to be one of - if not the - defining mechanisms in the fields of biochemistry, ecology, biology, geology, biophysics, zoology, etc., etc. must drive the creation myth people absolutely nuts.

Certainly that seems to be the case here.Perusing the many threads in this particular tribe I've yet to come across a single one in which Dan offers a salient response, argument or rebuttal that incorporates confirmed, acknowledged science by which to challenge the positions of any other poster here. Certainly he's been a dismal failure at challenging the solid, scientific evidence which there is certainly no short supply of.

no, we are in a global cooling phase lately Rene. The coolest July on record here in your home region. If you consider badgering the badger for playing the fool a "new low", I stand guilty. He has offered nothing to this tribe since comining aboard accept to tout his useless credentials as a man of "education".

Episodic fluctuations in climate patterns do NOT suggest a cooling or heating phase except when looking at short term periodic trends. That's almost like taking the high temperature for a single date over a decade and averaging them to figure out if the climate is increasing or decreasing. Surely as a biologist you'd be aware of the fallacy of using such a small number of data points Dan.

"He has offered nothing to this tribe since comining aboard accept to tout his useless credentials as a man of "education".

        And you've offered what?

Smoke? Mirrors? Questionable assumptions buttressed by a single, highly edited religious tome and a myopic, blind faith anchored in... superstition, fantasmic deeds, twisted interpretations of fact packaged as truth?

And you represent yourself as a studied, educated man. A teacher even.

Dan, you are a pretender. A discredit to your profession and a pox on all men and women who claim reason as a pole star as a direction toward truth.
