      It's mostly in the music not in the vocals at all
      You'll see it if you listen, The Lemon Drops sound like they listened to a lot of early Echo

          a friend and i recognized the echo resemblance, and still liked them. in part, i suppose, because we loved the bunnymen sound. as long as the music is honest, is it so bad to want to sound like them?

              That is another underated band in the likes of The Chameleons and The Sound. ;)

                      Yeah, both of them! Script Of The Bridge by Chameleons is such a fine album, and The Sound are rather unsung these days. At the time I thought the latter split the difference between E&TB and The Clash...
