By Derrick Jentzen.
Once too often this book was recommended by a friend or two, and I finally took it off the shelf and am halfway through it. How refreshing...it's the most honest book I've ever read and put into words what I knew to be true deep down. In a Vancouver bookstore I was surprised to find it in the ecopsychology section; it has a really wide scope, but it does address interspecies communication.
In a sense humans are autistic...just turn on the tube and count how many humans you see in an hour and how many animals you see in an hour. Don't be surprised if you see animals only in the second hour.
