I am now ready to invest in the right PDA, anyone have any advice on this topic?
I've never had one before but it's time.

Re: PDA advice
Tue, February 21, 2006 - 1:38 AMHey Margo. I've had a Palm and now I have an HP iPAQ. I prefer the HP because it sychs with my Microsoft Outlook calendar and contacts. Whatever PDA you go with, make sure that it synchs with the contacts & calendar program that you already use. When I had a Palm things got complicated because some of my info was in PalmDesktop and some of it was in Outlook.
p.s. PDA stands for "Personal Digital Assistant." I'm a nerd :0) -

Re: PDA advice
Thu, March 2, 2006 - 10:26 AMhi margo.. i don't know if you've got your pda yet or not..
i've had a dell axim pda for awhile now.
it has a windows interface which i really like.
i use it as an mp3 player, synch it with outlook calender, inbox, tasks and notes,
put pictures on it, voice record, download the daily newspapers,
use reminders, draw, record my dreams, and play games.
its uses a sanddisk memory card that i also use with my
laptop (now i'm really showing my geek colours), which also
goes into my digital camera....
things you may want to consider:
battery life
user friendly
cost - i've purchased my digi and laptop off ebay and will continue to do so for other purchases
what are you using it for
will it synch with current computer if you have one
how much memory you need
how fast a processor you want
i hope this helps... may the force be with you.
