Not sure what trance is?
Trance is rhythmic hypnosis; it can be done by chanting, dancing or playing a musical instrument. There is a technique to it but many people will sometimes do it without realizing it. Any hypnotic activity can induce trance. Ever space out while reading a book and suddenly you can't remember the last few pages? That's trance. Ever feel a fun but dizzy feeling in your head while dancing at a club? Perhaps loosing time while dancing? That's trance at work right there! Highway hypnosis is another form of trance. Trance has anesthetic properties and is used by cultures all around the world and throughout history. There are many different "trance cultures" and many different techniques used to achieve it.
