Atash Maya Dark and Sexy Choreo :: 12:30 pm-2:30 pm
Atash Maya has been known for their edgy and sexually powerful style: Dark gothic stylized choreography ~ combos for your not so traditional performances. This is an advanced choreography including floorwork, a slow drop from standing, layered techniques both fast and slow, and fast spot turns. The choreography has been broken down into 3 combos for Improvisational stylized belly dance. All Level dancers are welcome to attend, but beginners please allow yourself time to journal and observe techniques before trying if needed.
Slow and Sweet Stylized Combos :: 3:00 pm-5:00 pm
Sabrina will teach 2-4 Slow and Sweet Tribal fusion combos. Each combo will be an 8 count of 8 phrases that can be easily applied to your favorite music, used in solo or group Improvisational dance, developed choreography, or home practice. Every technique within the combos will be clearly broken down and drilled until comfortably understood. Students will also be given a handout describing each combo clearly. Keep in mind Slow is more challenging than rhythmic, bring a notebook you will need it. This is an Intermediate to advanced level workshop, dancers will gain tremendous ability and insight from this workshop. Please don’t forget your yoga mat!
